Welcome to Conservative Order for Good Government

Welcome to the Conservative Order for Good Government where we examine the pressing issues of our times with topics ranging from securing our borders and stopping terrorists attacks in the United States to shoring up San Diego's infrastructure and striking a balance for its public employee benefits.

We are a non-partisan and non-sectarian organization that welcomes members and guests of all political stripes. COGG does not endorse candidates or contribute to their campaigns.

Who is Conservative Order for Good Government?

Improving our community since 1978

The Conservative Order of Good Government traces its origins to the late 1970s when a group of Escondido residents decided to become part of the political process by inviting elected officials to speak at their monthly luncheons. They also wanted to express their views to elected officials on topics concerning the quality of life of their community.

Past Speakers

Past Speakers have presented through the long history of COGG, including a wide range of mayors, governors councilmen, ambassadors, Judges and Professors. View past speakers to see a selection of the past participants
